Her six year marriage has reportedly ended just seven months after the birth of her first child but Trophy Wife star Malin Akerman couldn't have looked happier as she ran errands in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 35-year-old blonde beauty was spotted just hours after it was claimed that she and drummer Roberto Zincone have separated but Malin sported a huge smile and burst out laughing as she pumped gas.

Malin, who has a seven-month-old son Sebastian with Roberto, looked casual yet chic in a pair of printed black and white trousers, a black top and black leather jacket and black ankle boots.

The couple are said to have split ‘amicably’ and are trying to do ‘what’s best for their son.’

A source close to the Trophy Wife star claims that while the pair have moved apart they are not yet ready to officially file for divorce.

An unnamed insider explained to Us Weekly: ‘It’s as amicable as can be, and they want to do what’s best for their son.’

Adding: ‘No one plans to file yet.

‘Honestly Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It’s a very sad time for her.’

However, she didn't seem to be too sad during Monday's outing.

MailOnline contacted Akerman's spokesperson for comment, but have yet to receive a response.

It was less than two months ago when the 35-year-old Swedish-born actress said of her marriage in September: ‘We’ve never had a single fight.’

She went on to explain the reason behind her seemingly peaceful relationship: ‘We’ve always talked things out.’

Meanwhile, Malin currently stars as reformed party girl-turned-stepmom Kate Harrison on Trophy Wife, which airs Tuesdays on ABC.

Malin recently revealed that she identifies with her character which has echoes of her real-life childhood.

She recently told Elle magazine: 'I grew up in a crazy, diverse, dysfunctional, amazing family - much like this family in the show.

'I have two stepdads, a stepmom, half siblings, and stepsiblings. Both of my stepdads and my dad were at my wedding. We have a picture of my mom and all of my dads. It’s awesome.'

While his estranged wife hides her pain behind a giggling smile, Roberto Zincone throws himself into his work.

The drummer of Petalstones, the rock band that Malin used to front, was spotted arriving home from his office in Beverly Hills with a fistful of documents in one hand and fast food in the other while puffing on a cigarette.

The musician wore a ripped denim vest trimmed with metal studs with distressed jeans, a chain wallet and well-worn Adidas trainers.

The two met while both were members of the Petalstones, although Zicone spoke very little English as the time. Eventually, the rocker and the beauty began dating and were eventually married at Grand Hotel Moon Valley in Italy on June 20, 2007.
