With Thanksgiving coming on Thursday, celebrity couple Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson flew home to Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, joining thousands of other travellers at the busy airport this holiday season.

The pair were still dressed in clothes more suitable for their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where the evening temperature is a balmy 70 degrees fahrenheit, 10 degrees warmer than LA.

German-born Diane, 37, must have been chilly in denim Daisy Dukes that showed off her slender legs.

The Inglourious Basterds actress threw a loose-knit cream jumper on over a T-shirt as she walked into the cool evening air in cute pink flats. She sported the cream titfer she was seen wearing poolside in Mexico over her blonde hair.

Her Dawson's Creek beau was wearing even less, in blue canvas shorts, a black short-sleeved, v-neck T-shirt and a straw hat. The 35-year-old carried a khaki canvas bag and gallantly wheeled the luggage.

It's a far cry from the sizzling heat of their Mexican holiday resort where the couple, who have been an item for seven years, enjoyed some rest and relaxation after sight seeing in Rio De Janiero, Brazil.

Diane has been busy this year with two movies, Me, Myself And Mum and The Host, as well as her starring role on cable channel FX's series, The Bridge.

Her next movie, The Better Angels, is in post production.

The film explores Abraham Lincoln's childhood with Diane starring as his stepmother.

Meanwhile, Joshua's five-year, 100-episode run in Fox's Fringe ended in January when the show wrapped. He recently signed on for Showtime pilot The Affair.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joshua will play a Long Island cowboy in the relationship drama, which also stars Dominic West and Maura Tierney.

He is also starring in director Todd Lincoln's The Network, due for release in the US on August 13 and the UK on September 15.
