Kylie Minogue has been spotted leaving a recording studio in South London after the exciting announcement that she’s set to take a place on both The Voice UK and the Voice Australia’s coaching panels.

Wearing a smart black coat and vibrant red nail polish, the 45-year-old singer smiled as she walked out of the recording studio on Thursday.

The star kept her golden hair loose around her shoulders and turned up the collar on her jacket to keep warm, looking far younger than her years.

Kylie was announced as a judge on series three of the UK version of The Voice, and will now sit in the swivelling chair Down Under too.

But there might be some sibling rivalry in the Minogue household as Kylie will be going up against her younger sister Dannii, 42, who is a judge on Australian X Factor.

Dannii's first stint on Channel 7's talent show saw her Over 24s category win the ultimate prize, with her act Dani Im, who has just hit platinum with her debut album, taking the lucrative record deal.

Kylie has yet to see the current series of the BBC singing competition air, but will be joining fellow Voice judge will.i.am on the Channel 9 revamped version of the show.

'I am so excited to be coming home and being a coach on The Voice,' the Spinning Around singer said.

I look forward to spending time in Australia, getting up close and personal with new talent and working alongside three amazing artists: Ricky, Joel and will.i.am.'

However although it is expected, so far it has not been confirmed that Dannii will return to the judging panel along with Ronan Keating, Redfoo and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.

Earlier in the week Kylie was seen with her fellow The Voice UK judges Tom Jones and Will I Am filming an advert for the next season of the show.

The new series won't be aired on BBC1 until Spring 2014, but the people behind the scenes are already confident the new series will be must-see TV.

Vocal coach on The Voice Yvie Burnett tweeted her support of the new line up on Monday:

'Brilliant week at @BBCTheVoiceUK ! Some outstanding talent will be on your TVs in 2014 !And @kylieminogue and @Rickontour are great coaches!’

To be honest I can't help wondering why she feels the need to keep touring, doing these shows, all the stuff she's already achieved. She claimed her punishing schedule affected her most recent relationship. Relationships are like gardens. I hope Mr Right bumps into her soon.
