Chris Brown's girlfriend took a full Thanksgiving dinner to him in rehab.

The Fine China singer, 24, is currently undergoing a court ordered 90-day stint at a live-in rehabilitation centre to focus on his anger issues but Karrueche Tran pulled out all the stops to ensure he had a good Thanksgiving.

A source told Hollywoodlife.com: 'She made him everything.

'She brought the boy a home-cooked turkey, yams, cranberry stuffing, black-eyed peas - the works.'

The meal was a big hit with the controversial star, moving him to tell her how much she means to him.

The source added: 'He was thankful and real receptive to her. He told her, "Babe, I'm thankful for everything that is you. Thanks for looking after me and I love you."'

Chris' kind words had a huge effect on Karrueche, who reportedly broke down in tears when he said how much she meant to him.

The insider said: 'She was completely moved by what he said. She said she couldn't stop crying and that her hands were shaking.'

Karrueche tweeted a picture of the two on Thursday, as well, saying: 'Happy Turkey Day.'

Chris is also being supported through his rehab stint by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, who according to reports stopped talking to him after he threw a rock at her car window, but recently broke her Twitter silence.

She posted: 'MY ANGEL WITH BROKEN WINGS GOD LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I DO AS WELL.'

Chris is expected to remain in rehab until the new year.

You know, there are always women who do the right thing and feel that the man they are with will somehow turn around and do right. He dumped her because he wasn't over Rihanna. He got over Rihanna and came back. He has been in and out of trouble, but I think these women STILL think that at some point, he will turn the corner and pull it together. Maybe he will and maybe he won't, but he still has a chance as long as he has people who truly care about him. I wish Karrueche, Chris, Rihanna and his mother the best. I hope things work out for all of them. In spite of the fame, they are still just people. People with flaws, people who make mistakes, people who screw up, people who don't always have the answers - in other words....people just like you and I. I hope he can turn it around.
