Spot the difference? Lindsay Lohan 'crafting lawsuit against the makers of Grand Theft V for using her likeness in the game without permission'

Lindsay Lohan is reported to be building a lawsuit against the makers of Grand Theft Auto V.

A source tells TMZ that the 27-year-old believes her likeness was stolen for the latest instalment of the game, which takes place in a version of Los Angeles.

Lohan’s attorneys are said to be demanding that Rockstar Games, who publishes GTAV, pay for using the actress’ likeness without permission.

An insider told TMZ that while Lindsay’s team is ‘crafting’ the lawsuit it is unclear whether the image was actually intended to be Lohan.

But there are some telling features in the game that certainly appear to have been cribbed from Lohan’s life.

One character in the game, who is the same woman in the bikini from the cover, is chased by paparazzi and uses the player to help her escape.

In another telling scene the Lohan look-alike is holed up in a hotel intended to be the the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, a favoured spot of the real life Lindsay.

A possible mission for a player in the game is to photograph the blonde having sex in one of the hotel’s rooms.

Meanwhile, the starlet has been recently posting topless photos of herself to Instagram.

In a recent snap the actress can be seen reclining on a bed while propped up with pillows

Only through the magic of camera angles and carefully placed blanket is the former child star's modesty protected in the social media picture.

But it was only two-and-a-half weeks ago that the red-headed starlet posted in image of herself flashing a large amount of sideboob.

However, while the last image showed a lot, she took it even further with this photo as part of one of her nipples is visible.

The photo is slightly out of focus, but still highlights Lohan's natural beauty. It appears that she is only wearing a silver chain necklace in the photo.

Lohan hashtagged New York photographer Rush Zimmerman in the photo, the same artist to look the other bawdy Instagrams of the actress.

In addition to the peek-a-boo image of Lohan, the Mean Girls star also posted a nude photo of herself decked out to look like Marilyn Monroe from her 2011 Playboy shoot.

The photo features a shot of Lohan from the waist up as she holds her breasts, but her hands do little to shield her nudity from the camera.

The actress sports Monroe's trademark platinum blonde hair in a similar cut and a bright red lip as she mirrors the sex symbols famous pout for the camera.

This is not the first time that Lohan has posted attention grabbing photos of herself.

In addition to the November 14 nude photo of herself, The Canyons star previously posted an image of herself wearing a pair of lacy underwear a few days earlier.

This story should be about how disgusting it is that there exists a video game in which the player's mission is to photograph a woman having sex in a hotel room without her knowledge. in real life, that would land you on a sex offender registry.

Lindsay, no one would ever dream of using you or your likeness in anything, except for some desperate production that needs your sordid history to drum up interest in a lame project anyway. Dream on! Pretty full of yourself in your delusions. Not a wise career move here, girl. You are already walking on eggshells to even have a glimmer of relevance. Definitely don't see a long career for you as an actress.

I mean, Lohan, I could understand, since she's...y'know....probably *is* on crack. But the writer? It's "impossible" to determine who the image was originally modeled after if you're not familiar with Kate Upton, since that's obviously who the blonde in question was modeled after. Has the writer been under a rock for the past three years?

Never once thought that looked like Lindsey. If anyone's got a case it's Jonah Hill for Micheals son. Or maybe Jack Nicholson for Trevor. But I'd say Jonah would feel honored and old Jack's probably never even heard of GTA.
