Amanda Seyfried doesn't need the excuse of mistletoe to sneak a kiss with her number one man.

The 27-year-old Red Riding Hood star shared an adorable photo of herself rubbing both lips and noses with her dog, Finn, on her Twitter page on Saturday, along with the caption: '#ColdPawsWarmHeart. #Massachusetts.'

Wrapped in black coat and wool hat, Seyfried and the ginger-furred Australian Shepherd were perfectly posing in front of a icy lake with pine trees in the background.

As for her best furry friend, he wore his now signature orange bandana that highlights his auburn hair.

Not only is Finn a constant topic of conversation on Amanda's social media, he even has his own Twitter page and the helpful hound recently reminded his almost 11,000 followers about the importance of adopting animals.

'This is your friendly reminder that it's 5 weeks before Christmas and if you're going to give the gift of a pet, please adopt or rescue,' was the canine's update on Wednesday.

Finn is such a loyal companion that he even does the talk show circuit with his talented owner.

The pretty pair appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman in July, when the canine celebrity showed off his tricks to the TV host.

'He balances things on his head,' Seyfried told Letterman when asked if he had any special talents. 'In fact, he has his own Twitter account.'

'I requested a hamburger be available,' Amanda went on to announce, and even though Letterman predicted that 'a dog with raw or cooked meat on its head is going to go nuts and not sit with it on its head,' Finn proved him wrong by balancing the burger on his head like it was a hat.

Amanda, whose human boyfriend is actor Justin Long, is so obsessed with the Aussie Shepherd that her Instagram is littered with photos of the fun-loving pair.

One recent shot showed them both lying on their backs with all four 'paws' in the air, with the caption, 'homeiswhereyourheartis.'

It is not just the Letters To Juliet actress who is obsessed with her dog, BuzzFeed dedicated an entire list to the famous pooch calling him the 'No.1 coolest dog in Hollywood.

Amanda is currently shooting new movie While We're Young, about a straight-laced couple whose lives are upended when they befriend a free-spirited younger couple.

Naomi Watts, Ben Stiller and Girls star Adam Driver also star in the dramedy, which is set for a 2014 release.

He is a lovely dog but I will never understand how people can bear to kiss a dog. Mine likes nothing better than licking his nether regions, chewing sheep poo and catching and eating flies - not at all enticing for the doggy snog.

Yikes, DM, the kiss one gives a loved pet is not romantic, it is innocent and tender and almost parental , romantic doesnt come into it, unless one is a deranged weirdo ....Also that is one pretty dog, and those photos are the definition of sweet.
