Victoria's Secret model Jessica Hart 'could be axed' from lingerie giant after slamming Taylor Swift's performance at fashion show

Jessica Hart's future as a Victoria's Secret model could be in jeopardy after she criticize Taylor Swift's performance at the lingerie giant’s fashion show on November 13.

Page Six reports that Victoria's Secret executives won't be inviting her to walk in next year's show or model in its upcoming catalogs.

The 27-year-old Australian beauty had previously told WWD that that Miss Swift 'just didn't fit' at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

After criticizing Taylor Swift, it seems Victoria's Secret executives won't be inviting Jessica Hart to walk in next year's show or model in its upcoming catalogs

Asked if Miss Swift could 'pull it off' as a lingerie model, Miss Hart, who was at the Victoria's Secret afterparty at Tao, replied: 'No. . . God bless her heart. I think she’s great. . . But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit.'

Miss Hart, who first modeled for Victoria's Secret in 2012, tried to make amends five days later, telling Us Weekly: 'I adore Taylor Swift and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. . . She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night.'

Victoria's Secret's chief marketing officer, Edward Razek, also stepped in, telling Us Weekly that Miss Hart's comments were misinterpreted.

Miss Hart, who first modeled for Victoria's Secret in 2012, tried to make amends five days later, telling Us Weekly: 'I adore Taylor Swift and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria Secret Fashion Show'

'I have personally been in contact with Jessica Hart and she said she was "wildly misinterpreted" and that she thought Taylor was "amazing,"' Mr Razek said on November 16. 'She is stunned that anyone would think differently. And that's something we can all agree on.'

He added: 'I can tell you that everyone at Victoria's Secret was blown away by Taylor's performance.

She could not be more beautiful or talented, that we felt extremely lucky to have her, and that she is welcome back to do the show anytime she wants. . . Taylor's not ready to be an Angel? She's more than ready to be anything she wants to be.

Miss Hart recently posed in a sultry shoot for GQ Australia as she was named Woman Of The Year

'I could not have more respect for this woman, or be more appreciative of her participation, and I can speak for the entire VS brand, the crew, and most certainly the Angels.

'We honestly could not have been happier with Taylor. She rocked the house. Sounded great. Looked stunning. And had the best time with the Angels. Some things I let slide. But not this. It couldn't be more wrong.'

Both Victoria's Secret and reps for Jessica Hart failed to return a request for comment from MailOnline.

When you work for big companies they have an image to uphold. So when you feel the need to express your real feelings, be ready to be disciplined or even fired. That's just how the real business world works. Basically, to say what you want about a business partner (bc that's what her and Taylor Swift were with VS) and get away with you, you'll have to own/work at your business. Lame, but true.

I'll believe it when I see it. But for now I doubt its ruining her chances. Number 1 VS loves publicity and number 2, publicity HELPS models not hurts them. Look she has more headlines then any other VS model has gotten since the VS show! Oh and a new GQ cover too...

It was a ridiculously silly thing for Jessica to say and now she must suffer the consequences. I would feel sorry for her but it was obvious to me that it sounded mean and was a dig towards Taylor. Personally Jessica should have thanked her lucky stars she was ever a model to begin with! I think with her hairy and protruding veins on her arms and rather dubious nose, she cuts quite a manly look. She has blown it now!

Her getting fired over this would be totally unfair. Much worse things are said all the time and she owned it immediately and apologized, and complimented Taylor on what she does! Taylor is the one who is rumored to be asking this and getting too arrogant and changing for the worse so suddenly. What is going on with that? (And her friend Selena?) Taking this young woman's job? Sounds like something Gwynie would advise her to do as she has done similar many times - while being biggest middle aged mean girl and cattiest of them all. Hope Taylor is not turning into someone like her...Taylor is talented and better than her behavior of late.
