Spending over a month working on his painting that contains 285,000 finger strokes, British artist Lambert has created an image almost indistinguishable from the original, real photograph. The ultra-detailed picture, originally by photographer Scott Gries took Lambert one month and constitutes 285,000 finger strokes that blend ontop of one another to produced the precise wisps of hair in Freeman's beard, the wrinkles in his forehead and the freckles on his cheeks - rendering it almost indistinguishable from the original image.

These Soviet structures, built some time in the 1960s, have the appearance of satellites but are covered in mirrors, leading to speculation about their true purpose. One theory is that they were early experiments with solar technology, another is that they were used as part of a military project. The most bizarre is that they could have created a superheated point of light which could then have been used to cut materials such as asbestos without producing harmful dust.
