She had just touched down in Japan after a long-haul flight.

And while most people would look tired following such a lengthy journey, Sandra Bullock looked fresh-faced and fabulous as she touched down at Narita International Airport on Tuesday.

The actress boasted sleek and glossy hair and wore a chic ensemble of flared jeans and a black belted coat as she touched down in Japan.

Ever the people pleaser, Sandra took the time to sign autographs for the fans who had eagerly awaited her arrival before heading to her hotel.

Sandra is in Japan to begin a promotional tour of the country for her new movie Gravity.

Meanwhile, Sandra's journey came as Glee star Chord Overstreet admitted he has a huge crush on the pretty brunette star.

In an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Chord said: 'I do have a celebrity crush right now. It's tough with all the ins and outs of relationships that are always going on, but I would have to say the most current one is Sandra Bullock.'

Chord, 24, admitted he's never actually met the Oscar-winning object of his affections, and when he saw her in the flesh he was too shy to approach her.

He added: 'I've actually never met her. I saw her. I saw her from a distance at one of these red carpet things, and I was a little bit too scared to talk to her. She was that beautiful.'

The actor also doesn't mind the age gap between them, adding: 'She is older than me, but ... I still have a lot to learn and I can be taught a few things, I'm sure.'

Chord may not be in luck in his bid to date Sandra - who has an adopted son, Louis - as she recently said she is fine being single since finding out her husband, Jesse James, was a serial cheat and walking out on him in 2010.

She said: 'If [a relationship] should come along, great. But I feel like I'm not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will. But my son is three years old, which is an amazing age.

'Four is an even better age. So if something happens, great, but if not, I've got plenty to do.'
