Great release! The only disappointment is scrolling... It's not sticky enough... Hard to scroll...

Jhon Davisjhondavis Tuesday, March 22, 2011 7:57:12 AM

Thank you. I like the multi-touch feature and I am waiting for iOS version.

I can't believe you've still not addressed the 'Full-screen Edit On means you can only search with Google' issue. Can you not make the search list dropdown appear when you press 1 on that textbox, or something like that?

Leng Chhaylengchhay Tuesday, March 22, 2011 8:07:43 AM

Why the download link is still point to mini5?

Help!

Opera Mini 6 for Symbian S60, failing certificate validity check so can't install. sad Looks like a timeout accessing net whilst accessing net. Waited for a while and tried again. Cleared cache etc, used different connection method and ISP. No change. sad N95 8GB. m.opera.com via inbuilt phone browser through Wi-Fi (also tried 3G via different ISP.) "Other download options" only gives alternate signings for the non-native mini.

Mini 6 j2me and Mobile 11 for Symbian install just fine. Can't believe how fast Mobile 11 is on the N95! smile

Renzo SantiniRenzoSantini Tuesday, March 22, 2011 10:50:40 AM

Opera Mini 6 officialy sucks! There's no support for Windows Mobile. I'm more than sad. Why did it say "we won't let any device behind"? I guess I'll try another browser.

The magic has been broken.

Does that mean there will be new Windows Mobile versions of Opera Mini in the future? I'd certainly appreciate that.

Why not for Windows Mobile 6? sad

Daniel Ziltenerzilti Tuesday, March 22, 2011 9:08:00 PM

WinMo users: Get the Java-version of Opera Mini for your device. There's Java for WinMo.

Sean silengask500 Tuesday, March 22, 2011 9:32:35 PM

hamdimoza Tuesday, March 22, 2011 9:53:00 PM

working perfect on android froyo, just did the update today and i'm loving it!!

LincsHorncastle Tuesday, March 22, 2011 11:18:55 PM

A bit more intuitive, and spritely.
Finding alot of sites where going to download an image puts it in a thick border with no download/zoom buttons... That's on all minis...4.2, 4.3, 5.2 and 6.0.

externals Wednesday, March 23, 2011 12:17:54 AM

please make a feature of selecting skins like 4.2 and a night mode option. make also a font much smaller than this. 6.0.sis small font option is much larger than 5beta 2.sis small font. I mean that just make an option in font 'extra small'. The bug of redirecting you to site you are browsing on the other tab is still there

tricksnhacks Wednesday, March 23, 2011 1:42:45 AM

operamini 5,5beta & beta2,5.1 and 6 has a common problem that I can't download very small pictures like icons. But, I can do it in operamini 3,4,4.1,4.2,4.3 etc

ario julviantinoariojulviantino Wednesday, March 23, 2011 3:07:45 AM

Working excelent on my Nokia S60.up

Prince19in Wednesday, March 23, 2011 3:12:21 PM

opera mini 6 symbian - very stable and nice to surf with its up to date server. However there are some fixes to do. For eg, a broken download cannot be restart. 2ndly personally i think the skin of opera mini 5 is better. This new all black skin is not so nice. It would be great if u can change skin as in opera mini 4.

Prince19in Wednesday, March 23, 2011 3:17:18 PM

make some servers on port other than 80/8080 as it work better and faster in some countries including mine.

Prince19in Wednesday, March 23, 2011 3:24:59 PM

Opera mini uses lots of RAM when browsing large pages. I suggest opera save images in C Or E memory rather than RAM, Just like UCBrowser do. Like than we can save RAM and open more application simultaneously

LincsHorncastle Wednesday, March 23, 2011 4:13:52 PM

Nice comments Prince19in.
Port 80 is blocked on alot of servers, this might be one reason why.

ÃßØ ÃLÝaswe77 Wednesday, March 23, 2011 4:16:34 PM

it's fantastic but there is a problem with arabic font . I can't with arabic right

MaximillianGreat Wednesday, March 23, 2011 5:49:31 PM

Marian H, please, made official statement, if WM will be supported later or not?
Various unofficial announcements claims, that development for WM is canceled. And many users plans switch for ucweb sad
I understand, Opera Mobile is very complicated, and hard to port, but Opera Mini is much simpler, so I hope to see Opera Mini 6 (and later 7 smile ) on WM.

Java isn't a solution for everything. The main problem is, that the Java version is slower (the main problem of Java applications) than a native WM application.

I agree with MaximillianGreat, we need an official statement from Opera about the future of Opera Mini for WM devices. I thought Opera is community friendly, maybe I was wrong...

kanpu Wednesday, March 23, 2011 7:23:45 PM

Opera mini 5.1 was better. Now i have a field with numbers and arrows at the bottom of my screen.
