She's been in Australia directing Unbroken while he's called England home as he stars in The Fury.
But on Wednesday UsWeekly reported Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will reunite for Christmas.
And it turns out, he's the one getting on a jet plane.
All I want for Christmas is you: Brad Pitt will fly to his fiancee Angelina Jolie's side in Australia to drum up some Yuletide cheer, according to UsWeekly
The actor is flying Down Under just after his 50th birthday on December 18 to join his fiancee for some holiday cheer.
'They're used to celebrating wherever they're working,' the magazine's source said.
Also in attendance will be their six children: Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, aged eight, Shiloh, aged seven, and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged five.
Working hard: The actress seen directing a scene in the Australian heat for Unbroken
Last year the duo spent their Christmas holiday on the Caribbean island of Parrot Cay.
This year Angelina has been working hard of her directorial effort.
Often she has been seen on set in an all-black ensemble giving direction to her large cast comprised mostly of good-looking young men that include Garrett Hedlund, Jack O'Connell and Alex Russell.
Meanwhile, Brad has chopped off his golden locks to play a WWII soldier in The Fury. He's been spotted in an army tank with his co-stars.

This is the first time the two actors - who met eight years ago on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith - have been apart for so long.
They last spent time together on November 16 when the actress was picking up a Humanitarian Award at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences Fifth annual Governors Awards in LA.
The two were affectionate as they sat next to each other during the ceremony.
Since then Angelina has been spotted spending her down time with Vivienne and Knox in Sydney.
On November 23 they were seen having lunch and window shopping.
Also in the UsWeekly article it's claimed the couple likes to stay at a $16,000-a-night suite inside the posh Bel-Air Hotel in LA, which is a 30 minute car ride from their Los Feliz compound.

Seeing as Brad's movie has finished filming it would only make sense that he joins his family in Australia. Perfect timing and opportunity for a wedding perhaps?
