She's known for showing off her incredible figure in revealing ensembles as one of the world's most famous models.

But Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was left red-faced when she suffered an unintentional flash of the flesh while leaving the British Fashion Awards earlier this week.

The 26-year-old beauty ended up entirely exposing her right breast as her red suit jacket gaped open, revealing her cleavage in all its glory.

Luckily, Rosie's sartorial error was quickly pointed out by a female fan waiting outside the London Coliseum, where the awards had been held, in a bid to prevent the British beauty's embarrassment.

However, the fan's intention to spare Rosie's blushes didn't quite work, and she ended up drawing even more attention to the accidental flash.

Once Rosie realised her mistake, she was quick to grab hold of the lapel of her suit jacket to conceal her breast.

But that didn't stop the Devon-born beauty from looking suitably embarrassed, grinning bashfully as she made her way to her waiting car.

Rosie had earlier caused a stir on the red carpet for all the right reasons, in her Antonio Berardi plunging jacket and trousers.

While the bottom half of her outfit initially gave the impression that the Transformers actress was wearing thigh-high boots and a miniskirt, on closer inspection it became clear they featured a clever optical illusion panel.

Ensuring the rest of her red carpet ensemble was just as impressive as her outfit, Rosie added even more height to her frame with a pair of black stiletto heels.

The model completed her look by opting for a fashion-forward slicked-back hairstyle and kept her accessories to a minimum with simple silver jewellery.

Coordinating her outfit to her make-up with dramatic pillar-box red lips, Rosie accentuated her incredible features with winged eyeliner and bronzed blush.

I could be wrong about this, but isn't the entire point of wearing such a plunging neckline the hope that one might titillate the viewing public with a nipple flash? I mean, it seems that if she wanted to keep her modesty under cover, she'd, well, cover it.
