As Victoria's Secret models, Elsa Hosk and Monika Jagaciak are expected to keep in tip top form.

So it was no surprise to see the pair run around the beach in St. Barths without breaking a sweat as they posed in bikinis for a new shoot.

Swedish model Elsa showed off her impressively toned physique as she glided across the sand.

Monika also appeared to float about on the sand, as she posed mid-air whilst running along the beach.

The 19-year-old Polish beauty looked fantastic in a bright pink two-piece, and appeared to be in an upbeat mood between takes as she laughed with her pal Elsa.

Jagaciak went make-up free the shoot, highlighting her natural beauty.

Such a professional: She doesn't seem to mind being completely covered in sand as she poses up a storm

Meanwhile it turns out that Elsa is no stranger to a bit of physical exercise.

In an interview with Fashionista.com, she revealed how she gave up a glittering future as a professional basketball player to take her chances in front of the camera.

She said that though she had been given the opportunity to model as a teenager, she chose to finish high school first, and on graduation, put the idea on hold again to focus on basketball.

While the sport is not as popular in her native country as is is in the U.S., she admitted her schedule was grueling, and it did not offer much opportunity for a young woman to travel and make new friends.

'It’s not anything like the WNBA, I mean basketball is not that big in Sweden, but it was still very tough,' she told the site.

'We worked out probably like eight times a week, and then it was games on the weekend.

'It took up a lot of time, it got really serious and I wanted to explore the world and meet people and not be tied down.'

Given that she is used to keeping her body in top form for high-level basketball, getting in shape for her first Victoria's Secret show, this year watched by 10.3million viewers, was little trouble.

'I think for us, we have to be in shape pretty much all the time since we’re working with lingerie,' she said.

'So [when the show comes around] it’s not like, "Oh you need to lose a million pounds", you just like need tighten up. We’re pretty much ready year round.'

They are pretty but not incredibly beautiful... they are just really skinny. Personally, I don't find women who are that skinny that attractive. There isn't anything to hold on to.

Aside from their slim bodies and perfect tans I don't really think either of these girls are that attractive. Quite average faces to be honest and certainly not comparable to the gorgeous Candice, Alessandra, Adriana or Doutzen! Absolutely love that yellow bikini though!

Everyone complains about models bodies but the first main thing I notice about them today is how painfully YOUNG theyre looking these days! They look like high school chicks. Cindy,Linda,Claudia,Stephanie etc NEVER looked like little girls, even when they were quite young. Weird. I dont find young girls to look sexy in the slightest. Compare these girls to 90s VS supermodel Stephanie Seymour and you tell me who is sexier...
