As she builds a singing career of her own, it's pretty clear who is the biggest influence on Jamie Lynn Spears.
The 22-year-old gave a sweet and humorous nod of appreciation to her famous older sister Britney during a performance in Decatur, Georgia, on Thursday.
The former actress mashed up the country tune Ms Mississippi with her famous sibling's Oops I Did It Again, even mimicking Britney's famous dance moves.

The aspiring country singer was dressed in a denim and leather jacket as she wore her blonde locks in flowing waves over her shoulders.
The low key getup was a far cry from Britney's notorious red leather jumpsuit and space inspired scenery in the hit song and accompanying music video from 13 years ago back in 2000.
The younger sister could not suppress a slight giggle as she crooned the radio hit while miming the famous dance moves.

She then gave a nod of appreciation to Britney, 32, saying: 'You gotta throw it back to your sister at some point, right?
'My sister's been a big influence on my life, so of course you gotta throw it back to her.'
She added graciously: 'So a big round of applause for my sister.'
Belting it out: The young performer has recently made the shift from actress to singer
Brit has always been a staunch supporter of her younger sibling, who carved out a career of her own as a child star on show Zoey 101.
However, her acting career was put on hold shortly after it began after she became a teen mother, falling pregnant at just 16.
But last week, the young star reintroduced herself to the world as a country singer releasing track How Could I Want More.

Following in the foot steps of an older sister who's a world known pop star is never going to be easy. Credit where credits due, Jamie is her own person, with her own style of music. Comments about her weight and having a child are so irrelevant and pathetic and have no association with her music whatsoever. At least the girls creating her own style, and providing for her daughter. Who wouldn't want to cover their sisters song? There's a thing called family nowadays and LOVE!!!!!
