Back together? Ashley Benson holds hands with ex-boyfriend Ryan Good as they enjoy romantic stroll, seven months after split

They split up in March after a year long romance.

But Ashley Benson and Ryan Good fuelled speculation they are back together on Saturday when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in New York City.

Joining the the romantic twosome was the Pretty Little Liars star's Shih Tzu, Olive, who cheerfully trotted alongside them as Ryan manned the lead.

Bundled up in a heavy black coat and ripped jeans, the actress kept a firm hold of Ryan's leather-gloved hand as they strolled side-by-side.

The Spring Breakers actress kept her long bronze-highlighted hair hanging loose and carried a large black bag in her spare hand.

Burly Ryan - who was formerly known as Justin Bieber's 'swagger coach' - was also ready for winter in a black pea coat, woolly hat and scarf, and chunky work boots.

Even Olive had a coat on to match her owner.

Earlier in the day, the Eastwick actress posted a photo of herself and the little doggy from behind with the caption: 'Walkin around the city.'

Since she and personal stylist Ryan officially split in March, Ashley and Olive have been inseparable so she is a natural third wheel now that they are seemingly back together.

At one point on their day out, Ryan broke into a huge yawn, but his tiredness was quickly solved with a trip to Starbucks and the couple were soon spotted carrying large cups of coffee.

Later in the afternoon, Ashley added a large brown hat to her dark outfit, which appears to have bought on an impromptu shopping trip.

Along with the new black-ribboned headwear, the former soap opera star carried a paper shopping bag from perfumery Bond No. 9 over one arm as she and Ryan bustled through the crowds.

Another change was the sudden absence of Olive, who seemingly had been taken home so that her parents could hit the shops in the Meatpacking District and then headed for lunch at the Soho House.

Benson officially announced in March that she and Ryan had split up after a year, telling Seventeen Magazine that she needed some time to be single.

'I've always been in relationships,' Ashley told the April issue, according to Us Weekly. 'And I knew I needed to learn to be comfortable alone.

'Anytime you go through a breakup, it's rough," Benson explains. 'Ryan and I are still close, but I'm too young to be in a serious relationship. Work is my boyfriend!'

'I'm 23 - I could have a boyfriend tomorrow,' she said at the time. 'But relationships are scary, because once you're in one, you have to face the idea of breaking up or staying together forever... its scary.'

Nine months later, it appears that Ashley may have finally decided that she is ready for a relationship after all.

Beautiful eyes, beautiful face, and love it when her hair is long. I also like the hair color cause it's brown, but it's a LIGHT brown, and not a dark brown that would probably look too harsh on her.
