Selena Gomez allegedly 'swore before storming off the stage mid-performance' at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball on Friday.

The 21-year-old is reported to have cut her show short at the Los Angeles holiday concert after experiencing some technical difficulties with the sound system.

The frustrated singer is alleged to have abruptly exited the stage but not before allegedly unleashing some colourful language on her way out, to an audience largely filled with young people.

Wearing a sexy burlesque-inspired costume, featuring a see-through lace cover and red onesie, the star cut a striking figure onstage.

But once things started to not go her way during the performance, Selena is said to have dropped the f-bomb just before leaving the stage abruptly, according to Us Weekly.

The Spring Breakers star was heard yelling over the packed audience: 'Sorry, the sound isn't working!

'Are you guys having a good night? I promise, a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight.

'Is it okay if I perform two more songs and you guys can get to it?'

However, the technical problems did not improve, and in an attempt to save face, Selena continued to chat with the crowd: 'I have to thank you guys so much for allowing me to be able to perform the music that I love.'

She added: 'And I have to say that before you guys go on to the people that you care about, I really appreciate you supporting everything that I do. So this next song is the first song I had hit No. 1, and it's called Come & Get It.'

Despite promising to sing two more songs, the former Disney star abruptly exited the stage after just performing one.

An eyewitness on the scene said: 'She was p***** doing the next song and she said two more songs. [She] didn't do the last one.'

MailOnline reached out to Selena's representatives for comment but have not yet received a response.

Why is that legs-apart pose so popular? It really doesn't look nice. Maybe I'm just old.

This would not have happened if she was capable of singing without her voice having to be electronically enhanced.

well she has to do something dramatic to be relevant to make up for her non existent talent.

The reason why she dropped the 'F-bomb' is because she feels that people will see her as an 'adult', and therefore puts on this contrived act. But its clear she is still this immature girl with a fan base with an age range of 8-13
