Stylish shopper: Claudia Schiffer shows off her supermodel figure in tight jeans, a festive knit and knee-high boots

Once a supermodel, always a supermodel is a phrase that definitely can be applied to Claudia Schiffer.

The German runway legend was out and about in London's Knightsbridge, looking all kinds of gorgeous in a festive jumper, blue skinny jeans and knee-high tan boots.

Paying a visit to Harrods on Tuesday, Claudia, 43, certainly made Christmas shopping look good.

Schiffer had picked up an item from By Malene Birger, as the logo can be seen clearly on the dress bag in her arm, which also carried a plastic bag with the department store's name on it.

On the other arm, Claudia held her suede and brown leather shoulder bag, all the while chatting on her phone as she left the store.

The model wife of Kick Ass director Matthew Vaughn, is also a designer in her own right, having launched a self-titled label focused on producing luxury cashmere items.

Her collection of womenswear and accessories is available on Net-a-Porter, but that doesn't mean she's not still lending her face to other designer campaigns.

Claudia featured alongside Naomi Campbell for Tommy Hilfiger, which saw the supermodels seemingly walking in mid-air carrying the American designer's tote bags, with their long legs on display.

Another sees them posing up alongside each other, Campbell smiling at the camera with Schiffer stood behind her pulling a smouldering stare.

Speaking about the shoot, she said: 'The energy on set was great. We always have a wonderful time together.

'It’s like working with family as we have known each other for over 20 years.'

Claudia, who has appeared on more than 700 magazine covers, now invests her energy looking after hers and Matthew's children Clementine, Cosima and Caspar.

She looks lovely but I think she would really benefit with a new hair style, that blonde needs toning down and some layers cut in!
