Just days ago she caused yet another star by twerking Father Christmas.

And Miley Cyrus was at it again as she grinded with a liquor swigging bad Santa at the Jingle Ball in St. Paul, Minnesota on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old looked like she was having a great time as she got into the festive spirit with the scruffily dressed St Nicholas lookalike.

This time the desperate-for-attention star wore a fur coat and a skimpy leotard as she reprised her role as a temptress to the jolly festive gift giver.

However it is unlikely her cohort would pass muster in A Miracle On 34th Street, as her scruffy friend held was seemed to be a liquor bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag as they performed their dirty dance.

Miley even pretended to take a swig of his booze as they went through their routine.

Twerking up against the very bad Santa, the 21-year-old singer grinded away as the fun festive character grinned in delight.

She was the star of the show, as Robin Thicke, Fall Out Boy and Fifth Harmony were among the other performances.

The former child star was joined at her performance by a latex-clad female dwarf, who was also a key part of her performance last week.

Before her performance on Friday she posted a snap of her and naughty Father Christmas on her Twitter page, Miley wrote: 'Bad Santa #KISSJingleBall.'

But she admitted she was nervous about taking to the stage without her mother, Tish Cyrus, supporting her.

She tweeted: 'Scared to do a show without my mommy there feel better MT @tishcyrus #jingleball.'

Earlier in the evening, Miley had well and truly rocked the red carpet as she arrived at the star-studded event, flashing her toned and taut abs in a wrap around crop top as she posed for photographs.

The young star was previously criticised for her overly sexualised performance alongside Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in August.

But she claimed she pays no attention to her detractors, telling MTV: 'I don't pay attention to the negative. What's amazing is I think now, we're three days later and people are still talking about it.

'They're over-thinking it. You're thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it. I didn't even think about it. Because that's just me.

'How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney done it. Every VMA performance. Anyone that performs. That's what you're looking for.

'You're wanting to make history. Me and Robin the whole time said, "You know we're about to make history right now".'
