New Zealand singer Lorde recently ignited a war of words with her supposed BFF Selena Gomez, after calling one of her songs anti-feminist.
But that hasn't stopped country music songstress Taylor Swift from hanging out with controversial Royals star.
The two girls were seen heading out to dinner in Melbourne on Thursday evening to celebrate Taylor's 24th birthday.

With Australia being 18 hours ahead of the US, it will be a two day celebration for the Red star, who is currently touring Down Under.
Joined by an entourage of pals, the new friends headed to Hibatchi Japanese Grill in the city's CBD.
Sipping on a glass of what appeared to be white wine, Taylor seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the company of the 17-year-old star, with the pair smiling and laughing throughout the meal.
The blonde beauty looked lovely and ladylike for the outing, wearing a festive red low-cut dress, embroidered with flowers and accessorised with a red leather handbag.

More rouge came in the form of her scarlet manicure and an application of bright lipstick on her pout.
Meanwhile, Lorde took a walk on the wild side in an animal print blue and green dress.
The talented star, who hails from Devonport, Auckland, had her curly brunette tresses in a unruly style.
What Selena's take on Taylor's new friendship with Lorde remains to be seen.

The former Disney star recently lashed out at the teen after the outspoken star dissed her song Come And Get It, accusing it of being 'anti-feminist' and sending a bad message to fans.
Selena didn't take her comments lying down, slamming her in return.
Speaking to Flaunt magazine, the 21-year-old said she would no longer be covering her hit song Royals in any of her shows.

Commenting on her remarks, Selena said: 'That’s not feminism. [Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that’s what I would say to her if I saw her,' she said.
'I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue that.'
Outspoken Lorde took aim at Selena and her fellow former Disney stars in a variety of interviews, last month.
She even went so far as to brand some of America's biggest pop stars as 'f***ing mental'.
Close: Selena and Taylor often hang out together during their down time
'The difference between those kids and me is that I grew up completely normally and went to parties and had that experience,' she said during a recent sit down with GQ's Q Blog.
'I am way less inclined to be like, ‘Look! I’m f**king mental!’
While the rising star wasn't specifically naming any names, it is thought that she was referring to both Selena and Miley Cyrus during the verbal take down.
And despite receiving a rather large backlash online and being publicly dissed by both Joe Jonas and British pop star Cher Lloyd, Lorde said she stood by all of her comments.
'I have pretty strong morals and opinions being in pop music, and I can’t help but express those, which I think people appreciate,' she later told MTV News.
'I mean, I don’t think I say anything that isn’t backed up. Most of the time I will stand by things that I’ve said.'
