Lana Del Rey-diant! Singer is serene in white lace gown as she attends Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences Awards

Her sense of style is often as ethereal as her music.
And Lana Del Rey certainly looked radiant as she wore white lace to the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences awards at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California, on Thursday.
The 27-year-old singer wore a floor-length dress with a strapless neckline and sheer lace across the neck and shoulders.

The dress featured contrasting cream satin from the waist down, finishing with a small split at the hem.
The star wore her hair in loose curls over one shoulder, while she added minimal jewellery with a small cross pendant.
She also went for simple makeup, with dewy skin, a flick of eyeliner, false lashes and pale peach lips.
The Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences recognise excellence in research in curing complex diseases and prolonging human life.

In February she suggested she may quit music. 'What would I say?' she told Vogue when asked about a new album. 'I feel like everything I wanted to say, I've said already.'
Lana starred in a short film, Tropico, which is based on biblical stories and which she described as a ‘farewell’ to her Born To Die era.
She wrote on Twitter: ‘Looking forward to seeing you for the farewell project. I adore you and thank you for inspiring me.’
