Kris Jenner as Time magazine's Person Of The Year? Nope, just another twisted Jimmy Kimmel joke

Jimmy Kimmel likes to go to extremes for a laugh. This time his target was Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kris Jenner.

On Wednesday the Live! talk show host had his staff asked people on the street what they thought of the 58-year-old matriarch being named Time magazine's Person Of The Year.

That question was presented in Hollywood, not far from where the reality show is filmed, so it wasn't much of a surprise that the reaction was (embarrassingly) positive.

'I think Kris is an amazing businesswoman with a really good head on her shoulders, it's well deserved,' said one pretty, young brunette who was wearing a chic black and white scarf.

No one told her the real Person Of The Year was actually Pope Francis.

Time has yet to put a reality star on their annual, prestigious issue. Last year President Barack Obama was their choice.

Another woman, this one coolly on-trend with a black hat and large gold necklace, was asked what she thought of Kris on the cover.

'I think she should get it,' she said.

'She has hustled her way this year, she's a household name and everybody knows her and she has just been on everything and everywhere.

'So I think person of the year would be a good accolade for her.'

This dig comes just after South Park ridiculed Kim Kardashian, calling her a Hobbit.

Her fiancé Kanye West was also included in the Wednesday night episode.

Kris wasn't the only celebrity Jimmy went after, however.

People were also asked what they thought of other honorees Toronto mayor Rob Ford, who has been open about smoking crack, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Mama June Shannon and former New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner.

Just before Kimmel's show aired, Kris was seen with daughters Kendall and Kylie at her favorite Mexican restaurant Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, California.

Dressed smartly in all black with a gorgeous Chanel purse, she seemed to be in great spirits.

Earlier that day she wore kinky boots to photo bomb daughter Kim on the red carpet for the Hollywood Reporter Women In Entertainment breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

I'm convinced that they will never go away...they are willing to do anything to stay in the media...when kris jenner got her talk show, she more than likely thought she would be the next oprah so she & kim suggested that they would retire from reality t.v.. I guess kim thought people would still be interested in her after her maternity leave. when the talk show show bombed, they took to prancing up & down the streets again & contacting media outlets to photograph the images that they wanted in the public...kim is back out their with a vengeance even after her announcement that she would be more private now that she's with her maniac baby daddy.
