He has suffered a difficult year which culminated with a stint in rehab, but American actor Josh Brolin has clearly bounced back from his recent low-point.

The acclaimed performer - whose film credits include The Goonies and No Country For Old Men - was spotted out in central London on Thursday looking fit and healthy.

The 45 year-old attended the Donmar Warehouse to catch Tom Hiddleston's popular performance in Coriolanus.

Wearing jeans and a hoodie with a brown leather jacket, the California-born star appeared youthful and rested as he made his way through the capital's theatre district.

He matched the look with Nike trainers and a clean-shaven appearance for his evening of culture.

There, outside the theatre, he saw Dr Who star Peter Capaldi and Hiddleston himself leave the venue to greet fans.

Fortunately, after suffering difficulties in his personal life, Josh was able to keep a low-profile. After all, it has been less than a month since his divorce from Diane Lane was finalised.

Man Of Steel actress Diane originally filed to end their marriage in February, citing 'irreconcilable differences' and court documents submitted on November 27 seen by website TMZ confirm their marriage has been legally dissolved after eight years.

Diane, 48, has also dropped Josh's surname and will once again be Diane Lane.

According to the court documents, the couple have a private financial agreement and Diane is not seeking spousal support outside of this.

Although W actor Josh was said to be doing well despite the divorce, last month checked into a rehab facility to deal with issues related to his drinking.

The 45-year-old star said he was 'completely done' with alcohol after a couple of incidents over one wild weekend, where he was caught on camera yelling abuse at a cab driver after allegedly rear-ending his vehicle, then got into a brawl with a bouncer at a bar.

The bouncer managed to avoid getting hurt before one of his colleagues stepped in and urged Josh to stop.

The actor hugged the bouncer after he brushed off the incident, insisting: 'We were just hugging.'

When asked if these incidents would spur him to stop drinking, the actor replied: 'Absolutely. It won't be happening again. That's it. Completely done.'

Diane and Josh wed in August 2004 following a one year engagement.

However, just four months later, police arrested Josh on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

However, the actress declined to press charges against her husband, with the couple's spokesperson insisting the incident was a 'misunderstanding'.

Josh has two children from his first marriage to Alice Adair, which ended in divorce 19 years ago. He was briefly engaged to Minnie Driver in 2001.
