Mommy's heiress and daddy's little princess! Paris Hilton and Ivanka Trump post rare snaps of their idyllic childhoods

Heiresses Paris Hilton and Ivanka Trump have a lot in common - famous fathers, former modelling careers and idyllic childhoods that they both evidently look back on fondly.

The socialite and the entrepreneur, both 32, took to Instagram yesterday to share nostalgic snaps from their privileged pasts for Throwback Thursday.

In Miss Hilton's photo, she is seen prancing around in the sand in Malibu Beach at the tender age of two, joined by her stunning mother Kathy, then aged 24.

The blonde, curly-haired future socialite looks adorable in a black and white one-piece bathing suit, grinning as she holds a green shovel in her hand.

And her mother is the spitting image of Paris's younger sister Nicky, sporting a red and white bikini and Eighties-style sunglasses.

Miss Hilton also shared a second photo from her childhood, this time of herself with Nicky, now 30.

The image sees the girls wearing matching sweaters and riding around an elaborately decorated living room in bumper cars.

Ivanka Trump was also reflecting on her privileged past yesterday.

For her Throwback Thursday post, the mother-of-two shared a photo of her teenage at an unknown date sitting on her father Donald Trump's lap in front of a shiny sportscar.

Wearing blue pants, a red shirt and black heels, Ms Trump - whose actual age in the image is unknown - kisses her dad's cheek adoringly as he smiles at the camera.

The sweet father-daughter photo has had 11,000 'likes' since it was posted yesterday.

Martha Stewart, 72, also shared a rare photo from her youth recently. For her own Throwback Thursday post on Instagram, she is seen carrying a basket of fruits in a green garden.

Why do they call Paris an heiress? The Hilton Family sold the Hilton Hotels LONGGGG before Paris was even born. They haven't been involved with the hotel chain for decades.

That was no living room. It's obvious that that is a large hotel reception-type room in which they laid down flooring for the bumper cars. Nobody would do that in their own living room.

Donald Trump, whatever I may think of him, wasn't afraid to show his kids the world of work. However much plastic surgery Paris Hilton may be able to afford, there won't be a darned thing she will ever be able to do about those gigantic feet!

I thought the same thing. 'Envious' but, she's probably a relative there's one in every family. That just doesn't seem to get along with the rest.

She's probably an overworked, underpaid staff member putting in more hours than she is paid, looking on possibly thinking 'those spoilt little witches, I have to work a whole year to get a fraction of what they get just for spend binge day'.
