Juliette would approve! Nashville diva Hayden Panettiere is full of glee on eve of Golden Globe nomination as she joins co-stars to plug new album

She plays a diva country singer who always has her eyes on the prize of becoming queen of the charts.

But this morning Hayden Panettiere found herself one step closer to an accolade that her Nashville character could never vanquish.

Fittingly enough, Hayden found herself alongside her castmates in Nashville on the eve of her Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a series, mini-series, or TV movie.

The drama’s cast joined SiriusXM channel The Highway for an album premiere party to promote the third instalment of The Music Of Nashville.

The 24-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Chaley Rose,Charles Esten and Sam Palladio, Executive Producer Callie Khouns, among other cast and crew.

There was nothing country about the Nashville star as she channeled her inner rockstar from the waist down as she wore a pair of black leather trousers along with matching leather boots. Her upper half was much more reserved as she donned a knit grey biker jacket over a black and white top with her hair tied back.

The actress beamed as she answered questions about the show; perhaps Hayden had already caught wind of the Golden Globe nomination.

She hopes to ‘square dance’ to the podium for the first time as she is recognized for her role as country teen superstar Juliette Barnes.

This is her second nomination in a row for the show that is currently in its second season.

The Heroes star will be up against Jacqueline Bisset (Dancing on the Edge), Janet McTeer (The White Queen), Monica Potter (Parenthood) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family). It is an open field as last year’s recipient Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey) is absent from this year’s list nominees.

The glitz and glamour of the award show set to take place on January 12 is quite a change of scenery from where the actress was on Saturday.

Hayden is conceivably playing her biggest role yet as an activist and real life ‘hero’ for her efforts emerging as a pro-democracy campaigner in Ukraine.

Alongside her champion boxer fiance, Wladimir Klitschko, the actress encouraged protesters in the former Soviet state to ‘keep fighting.’

Though a weekend trip to her beau’s home country was on her agenda for the weekend, she announced a new home for the couple according to the Twitter feed of ‘The Highway’ as she declared, “I’m a Nashvillian!”
