Defending her self-ie! Lindsay Lohan shrugs off legal woes as she posts supportive message from mother Dina

She is currently in the middle of her latest drama concerning an assault on Paris Hilton's brother Barron.

But while it has been confirmed Barron's lawyers will be pursuing charges against Lindsay's friend, it seems the Mean Girls actress isn't letting the stress get to her.

On Thursday, Lindsay posted an Instgram selfie posing in the mirror, which included a loving message from her mother Dina Lohan.

While it has been her father Michael doing most of the talking on Lindsay's behalf concernering the assault in Miami, Lindsay gave a shout out to Dina.

'My mommy left ths on my mirror! So sweet!' Lindsay said in a caption.

It seems that Dina had sprawled the words, 'love mommy' in red lipstick across Lindsay's mirror.

It was claimed last week that Barron, 24, alleged the troubled actress had ordered for him to be beaten up by Ray Lemoine at a party on Star Island in Miami for 'talking s***' about her boyfriend,

But Ray insists Lindsay is innocent and the row was triggered by Barron bragging about his famous family and refusing to leave the party.

However, today it was revealed that Barron has asked his lawyer to contact police in Miami Beach to pursue charges over a beating that left him hospitalized.

An officer with the Miami Beach Police Department told Radar on Wednesday that a meeting with detectives has been sought.

'Barron Hilton’s lawyer contacted us yesterday [Tuesday] and a meeting is being scheduled for Mr. Hilton to give a formal statement about the incident,' said Sergeant Bobby Hernandez.

Mommie Dearest: Lindsay's mother Dina who was arrested for alleged drink driving in Long Island, New York earlier this year, left a loving message for her daughter
