Jenna Dewan-Tatum looked the model mother on Friday, as she spent some time on the beach in Puerto Rica with her baby daughter Everly.

The new mother and her six-month-old have been enjoying the warm weather on the North Carribean island while her husband Channing Tatum films 22 Jump Street.

Making the most of the winter break, Jenna showed off her super slim physique in a pink bikini.

The actress - who is currently starring in TV series Witches Of East End - wore a patterned sarong with a straw hat as she and Everly hung out on the sandy beach.

Jenna has proven to be quite the stylish beach-dweller, having worn a patterned maxi dress the day before with the same hat and thong flip flops.

She recently celebrated her 33rd birthday on December 3rd, so no doubt the trip was a chance to celebrate another year gone by, and she shared that feeling on her Whosay page with a picture of her and the caption: 'I love life. and the beach!'

Though Jenna looks just as slim as before her pregnancy, the actress isn't too worried about having the perfect figure.

Speaking to Self magazine: 'In the past, if my jeans weren't fitting right, I'd work out. Now, if they're not fitting right, I'm like "Oh, well! I'll get to the gym soon."'

But above all, Jenna is relishing motherhood, and spoke to E! News about daughter Everly: 'She's musical, she's happy, she's dancing around all the time and bouncing and moving.'

'Pregnancy, for me, was great,' she revealed. 'I had the best pregnancy—I wasn't sick, I was happy, my hormones were working for me. Everything was good.

'It was like, right afterwards, you're getting no sleep...You just have to get past that point and they start interacting with you, and it's amazing.'

Channing has been enjoying his family's presence while filming scenes for the comedy sequel of 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill.

The movie rejoins detectives Jenko and Schimidt as they go undercover in college after dismantling a drugs ring at a high school in the first movie based on the TV series of the same name and starring a young Johnny Depp.
