Though the sun was shining, the clothing they wore was evidnece of the extreme cold - the 28-year-old actress dressed in a North Face puffer jacket that went all the way down to her knees, along with black leggings and black Ugg boots.

Her hot pink beanie with the turquoise top gave her outfit a pop of colour.

Her 35-year-old actor boyfriend wore dark windbreaker pants and a black puffer jacket with a black and gray striped beanie.

The couple looked in high spirits as they took to the streets at a brisk pace, arms linked, with Finn at times taking the lead.

Justin has wrapped up shooting the Veronica Mars movie with Kristen Bell.

He has recently directed his first feature film, an independent movie called A Case of You, which he wrote with his brother Christian Long and a close friend, actor Keir O'Donnell.

The film has got quite the star cast, with Evan Rachel Wood, Sienna Miller, and Vince Vaughn also on board.

In it, Long's character, Sam, becomes infatuated with a beautiful barista named Birdie, played by Evan.

To get her to like him, he stalks her on Facebook, taking up all of her interests and becoming immersed in the things that she likes.

The idea for the film developed while he and co-writer Keir were going through breakups.

'It was so long ago,' Justin said in an interview with the Huffington Post. 'I have this cabin in Massachusetts and we were kind of holed up there licking our wounds and listening to a lot of '60s folk music and Joni Mitchell. That's where "A Case of You," the title, came from.'

It looks like the Alvin and the Chipmunks star has found love again.
