Tottenham fans face an anxious wait to discover if star man Gareth Bale will stay at the club following the failure to qualify for the Champions League.

But if Bale does decide to leave if pursuit of playing in Europe's flagship competition, then Spurs can take solace in having not one but two ready-made replacements who already wear the No 11 jersey

Under 19 midfielder Kenny McEvoy was labelled 'baby Bale' due to his striking resemblance to the Welsh wizard and his ability to torment defenders.

And now Under 21 star Cristian Ceballo showed last night why he has been touted as the Bale's natural successor

The former Barcelona academy player, who became an internet sensation after a video showed him taking on Ronaldino in a icks chaenge at the Nou Camp, was inches away from repeating Bale's wonder goal against Sunderland.

Ceballos cut in from the right and rifled his 25-yard effort just over ther bar in Monday's Barclays Under 21 Premier League final against Manchester United.

Spurs stormed into a 2-0 lead at Old Trafford with goals from Jonathan Obika and Alex Pritchard but defender Marnick Vermijl pulled one back just before the hour and a two more goals from Larnell Cole, who scored three against Liverpool last week, took the title for United.

At the beginning of the year I travelled over to my old stomping ground and saw amongst other games Spurs v Barcelona in the Next Gen. One name stuck out Alex Pritchard. The boy was amazing and a joy to watch. Mananged to stream the game at OT and again the boy stood out. The whole Spurs team were truely exciting to watch. They mangled Barca 4-1 in the return in Spain. Since then I've followed to youth team more intensly, they score for fun and are so quick and technical. The future looks very good. COYS
