Emily Blunt has been keeping very active since wrapping her latest movie Into The Woods.

But the first-time mother-to-be switched gears on Monday to enjoy a leisurely lunch with her friends at Cecconi's restaurant in West Hollywood.

Emily, 30, who is reportedly eight months along, was dressed down for her well-deserved outing in navy maternity trousers that showed off her remarkably toned pins and a loose-fitted white top.

The understated nature of her outfit served well to camouflage her growing bump as well as keep her comfortable on this warmer-than-usual day in Southern California.

Emily recently returned home from England after wrapping the large-scale musical Into The Woods for director Rob Marshall and co-starring Johnny Depp and Anna Kendrick.

With her slate now clear, the English-born actress is getting ready for the January birth of her baby with her actor husband, 34-year-old John Krasinski.

'Emily is so ready to have the baby,' a source told Us Weekly's December 23 issue. 'It's been difficult, with her travelling and them having to be apart.'

The pair - who wed in 2010 after dating for two years - announced in September that they were expecting their first child.

'John's trying to make the pregnancy as easy as possible for Emily. He's going to make a great father,' the same source added.

Despite her growing girth, Emily has been seen hitting the gym and the hiking trail, a sign that she intends to stay fit right up to the delivery.

She was seen heading to her Beverly Hills gym on December 10 in black leggings, blue sweat shirt and warm jacket.

On Saturday, she took her dog for a cardio walk in the hills above LA, this time baring her expanding waistline in a clingy SoulCycle T-shirt, which she matched with capri leggings and sturdy trainers.

Later that day, friends headed over to Emily and John's home in Los Angeles to celebrate the parents-to-be at a couple's shower.

Guest included Jennifer Aniston and her fiance Justin Theroux, as well as Kristen Bell.
