Selfies, tattoos and drunken naked nights: Strangers in New York and Los Angeles share the most recent photo on their phones

Photos were said to be worth a thousand words but now that people take hundreds of pictures on their phones on a daily basis, the value is sometimes lessened.

Artist Ivan Cash has done a series looking at what the last photos random strangers have on their phones as a way to take a sneak peak into their personal lives.

His latest additions to the ever-expanding project were filmed in Los Angeles and New York, providing yet another way for the two rival cities to be compared to one another.

what is this obsession with showing strangers your photos is this a wierd form of fame hunting because id cannot understand why people do it, i never post any pics of myself on line and have told my family not to do so i hate tattoos especially on women and those tattoo sleeves men wear are the worse dislike them on policeman etc as i think it is disrespectful . and naked drunken nights should just be kept to yourself and forgotten about
