Justin Bieber’s been defending his friends after a fan labelled the group as a ‘bad influence’ on the singer, via his Instagram account.

The 19-year-old star stood up for his friends including American R&B singer Khalil, who is signed to Def Jam records.

The Baby singer told his fan, whose Instagram name is ‘Iheartdabiebss’, it was not their place to judge his friends and that God had put them in his life for a reason.

The row began when Bieber turned up to the world premiere of his new movie, set for release on Christmas day, called Justin Bieber’s Believe in Los Angeles.

Wearing a bright red suit with white shoes and a white shirt the star posed with seven of his friends and co-stars in the movie.

Commenting on one of the photos he posted online, the fan said: ‘I’m realising he is growing up and I’m realising he is changing but in my head I just see this “team” as a bad influence and it KILLS me just thinking what if Justin goes down the wrong path and just messes up his career.’

They added: ‘I know he won’t I know he is a smart man but I’m not so sure hanging around these types of people will keep him on the track of success.’ (sic)

The comment was one of 219 that had been received on the picture that Bieber posted that evening of the star-studded event.

Continuing the user said: ‘I’m not picking out Khalil I taking the whole “team” in general and all the recent people he has been hanging out with.

‘Justin isn’t the same 16 year old boy anymore and I know that it’s hard seeing him grow up and just thinking about him retiring breaks my heart.’

In a strange turn of events the star took a screen shot of the fan’s message and re-posted it onto the social networking site.

He commented: ‘It’s not your place to judge. God put these people in my life for a reason and just because they’re African American that makes them a bad influence??

The young star’s reply to his fan currently has over 348 thousand likes after being posted on the site for just nine hours.

Bieber and his friends all posed together with his friends wearing all black outfits, although one wore bright red shoes.

The star also posted a picture of himself, his best friend Lil Twist and Cailin Ross – the model who appeared in the singer’s latest video, All That Matters – on the photo-based site.

Alluding to his bright white shoes the singer captioned the photograph ‘look down’, potentially trying to avoid the attention being on Cailin’s very low cut top or the fact her arm was wrapped around the singers.

What a bunch of silly little boys. Trying to act and look like thugs or tough kids from 'the hood.' And end up looking totally laughable!
