Wedding Reception Overview

The San Diego Woman’s Club is a historic wedding venue that is centrally located near Balboa Park in the Bankers Hill neighborhood in San Diego, California. Our clubhouse is a perfect wedding reception facility because of the unique history of our building.  To learn about the history of our club and our reception facility visit our history page.

Our beautiful colonial-style Clubhouse was built in 1940 and has maintained its charm throughout the years.  The facility is wheelchair accessible.  There is a large stage and spacious solid maple wooden floor, perfect for dinners and dancing.  Private rooms for bridal parties are additional amenities. Features of the Banquet Hall Include:

Stage with private Band Access and Private Lounge Room, Wheelchair Accessible, Flexible Decorating Hours, Grand Piano, Wireless Internet, Projection Screen, PA System, In House Speakers, Stage Lighting, Tables, and Chairs. Please note that the building does not have air conditioning.

We handle all setups, breakdowns, and clean ups.

  • 242 Persons for Dinner and Dance Style Seating.
  • 300 Persons for Dinner (NO Dance Floor) with Tables and Chairs.
  • 357 Persons Theatre Style.

*Curfew is 11:00 pm (music off at 10:00 pm)
