Sweet Yeezus! 'Neighbours from hell' Kim Kardashian and Kanye West prepare for move to Bel Air home... just three doors away from Gordon Ramsay

His sumptuous Bel Air property boasts sweeping views of the surrounding canyons and a stunning Pacific Ocean vista – but Gordon Ramsay will soon be sharing his gated community with the least desirable neighbours of the year.

Indeed, the fiery chef has enjoyed relative seclusion since purchasing his sprawling home in 2012 for an estimated $6.4 million.

But while Ramsay settled into his new Bel Air Crest abode he may well have heard the relentless clanging and clattering of extensive renovations being carried out at another sizable home – situated just three doors away – on behalf of 'neighbours from hell' Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

With work close to completion, celebrity owners Kim and Kanye will move into the luxury pile with young daughter North in the New Year – weeks after being named the least desirable neighbours of 2013.

In a poll carried out by real estate website Zillow a quarter of participating Americans decided to award them the dubious honour – putting them above the like of controversial pop stars Jusin Bieber and Miley Cyrus – because of the relentless fly-on-the-wall filming schedule that sees cameras follow their every move.

‘No one wants to live next door to a family who has cameras following them everywhere and seems to seek out as much attention as possible,’ said Zillow Chief Marketing Officer Amy Bohutinsky.

‘However, with more than one-third of surveyed Americans preferring a non-celebrity neighbor, what remains clear is that many people don’t want to live next to any celebrity, regardless of why they are famous.’

Both Kim and Kanye have been spotted paying supervisory visits to their new home while extensive building work is being carried out according to their specifications.

The property - which Kim bought in July for $10,750,000, according to Trulia - has been been gutted, as the couple seek to put their own stamp on it.

The stunning Mediterranean-style mansion came complete with wrought-iron staircases, chandeliers and 'old world' fittings, which have already been ripped out.

Meanwhile Gordon’s 7,413 square-foot property, purchased last year and designed by architect Kenneth Ungar, boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms and wide living spaces.
