They are three of America's Sweethearts and now Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston are joining forces.
The trio, who have starred in some of the biggest romantic comedies, are reportedly searching for a script they can work on together.
According to RadarOnline, Sandra is behind the scheme to bring the group together for ‘the mother of all chick comedies’.
What a combination: America's Sweethearts Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston are reportedly considering collaborating on a comedy together
The insider explained: 'Sandra is the one who is friends with both Cameron and Jennifer, and would likely get top billing in the project.
'It's amazing that this is even being considered by this group - and shows that they're putting aside old rivalries to find ways of staying relevant in recession-racked Hollywood.
'Although there isn't a script or concept in play just yet, the film could do for girl comedies what The Avengers did for superhero movies.'
The stars have seen how successful female led comedies including Bridesmaids and Sanda's The Heat have been and believe they could surpass those with their own flick.
Top billing: Sandra is reportedly masterminding the project and as a result would receive top billing
'The success of The Heat and the movie Bridesmaids has shown that female buddy comedies are the hottest thing going and Cameron, Sandra and Jen would love to work together and rake in box office gold,' the source added.
They are also searching for a director and those interested include The Heat helmer Peter Chernin and Drew Barrymore, who is currently on the lookout for a new project to direct.
Bridesmaids scribe and star Kristin Wiig has ruled out a sequel despite numerous offers.
Success: The trio are hoping to replicate and surpass the success of Bridesmaids, which was released in 2011
From an industry perspective, it's not hard to imagine why demand was so high for a Bridesmaids spin-off. With a dearth of sharply-written female-driven comedies hitting the screens in recent years, the R-rated comedy easily soared to the top of the box office charts, taking in $300 million in world-wide ticket sales.
The 2011 comedy helped clear the way for a series of female buddy flicks to get the green light including Bachelorette and Pitch Perfect albeit with far less success - and this summer's The Heat starring Melissa McCarthy and Bullock.

This story would only make sense if it were April Fool's Day, not New Year's. Maybe replay ot then and it will be more believable.
