Location and Landmarks
The airfield is located in the extreme northeast section of Afghanistan deep within Thehindu Kush mountain range. (Note: do not confuse with Khorog airfield 2000 feet east across the border (river) in Tajikistan. Approximately 213 miles north of Kabul.
