Turning up the heat! Charlize Theron shows off her enviable bikini body as she holidays with Sean Penn in Hawaii

She began her career as a model, and judging by her appearance in Hawaii, Charlize Theron still possesses a figure which would be the envy of many a budding style maven.

The 38-year-old sizzled in a striped bikini top and black bottoms as she hit the beach on Monday.

However, the teeny two-piece appeared to need some adjusting with the actress spotted moving the halterneck into place on several occasions during the afternoon. 

According to some reports, the star is holidaying with actor Sean Penn and is residing in his beach front property during the trip.

Charlize and Sean have been friends for years, but first sparked rumours that they were dating back in 2010 when they were seen having a romantic dinner together.

However, it was then revealed that Sean had been helping Charlize following her split from Stuart Townsend at the time.

They were then further romantically linked in 2011, and more recently both attended Family Guy star Seth MacFarlane's holiday party earlier this month.

During her day on the beach, Charlize looked chic in her two-piece teamed with a white and blue necklace and sunglasses, Charlize took a stroll along the golden sands before taking a dip in the warm ocean.

With her short blonde hair looking longer and more tousled, she wore minimal make-up, showing off her flawless skin and natural beauty.

However, the star appeared to be without her 21-month-old son Jackson as she enjoyed her day of relaxation.

On Sunday, Penn was showing off his equally impressive physique as he spent the day surfing.

The Oscar-winning actor hit the waves with confidence whilst wearing a wet suit, and later revealed his bulging biceps and pert pectorals as he disrobed on the beach.

No doubt he is relishing every moment he spends with the glamorous South African beauty.

The Monster star will next be seen in A Million Days To Die In The West - a comedy Western directed and written by Seth McFarlane and co-starring Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson and Neil Patrick Harris.
