Fabulous at 55! CSI's Marg Helgenberger displays her enviable bikini body while soaking up the sun in St Barts

She played the role of a savvy investigator on CSI since 2000, finally retiring the role this year.

And Marg Helgenberger is taking the opportunity for a well-deserved break.

The 55-year-old displayed her toned figure while enjoying a day at the beach with boyfriend Alan Finkelstein and her son Hugh Rosenberg in St Barts on Monday.

The mother-of-one slipped into a flattering blue-green bikini for the outing, which showed off her womanly curves to perfection.

Marg appeared to be wearing little to no makeup and had no qualms getting her famous red mane wet as she took a dip in the ocean.

The actress was seen gracefully body surfing alongside her 23-year-old son.

She and Alan started dating in 2010, soon after her divorce from husband Alan Rosenberg after 23 years of marriage.

The natural red-head is now filming the pilot for a new series called Intelligence after leaving CSI earlier this year.

She was one of the highest paid actors of all the CSI shows, earning $375,000 per episode, the same as CSI: Miami's David Caruso.

Marg won an Emmy for her role in China Beach, which aired from 1988 to 1991.
