It was a special year which saw her give birth to her first child as well as become engaged to rapper Kanye West.
And Kim Kardashian celebrated the end of 2013 with a simple photograph of her daughter North holding her 15 carat diamond engagement ring.
'It was an amazing year!!!' she wrote alongside the snapshot of her six-month-old bundle of joy clutching the valuable piece of jewellery.

Kim is currently seeing in 2014 in Utah, where she has been busy skiing up a storm with Kanye, sister Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick.
Meanwhile, her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner celebrated in style as they rang in the New Year together sporting a menagerie of glittery hats and festive glasses.
Joined by Khloe's best friend Malika Haqq, the girls posted snapshots of themselves seemingly in a bar, pouting for the cameras.

'NYE' wrote Khloe simply, alongside the collage of pictures.
Kylie, meanwhile, posted a snapshot of herself posing with special 2014 glasses writing 'there I smiled,' by the snap.
Family matriarch Kris Jenner was not with her daughters but tweeted her good wishes as the Los Angeles New Year drew near. 'Happy New Year Dolls! I hope everyone is having a safe and fun night.'

Yes congratulations Kim on owning a massive ring but really the success is when you stick at being married more than 5 minutes.
I just made a very catty comment and looked at the photo again and decided the photo is very sad when you consider that the highlight is the ring, not the baby.
Another disgusting display. I wish these people would go away. They are a horrible example of what society deems important in life.
I used to be a fan of Kim kardashian, but I think that she should spend more time with her newborn baby, for at least the first year.. I wouldn't leave my baby's side until it was at least 1... But the sad truth is , she needs the attention and is selfish .. How sad is that??
