'A fairytale engagement!' Bones star TJ Thyne proposes to model girlfriend in a candlelit heart at a German castle

Proposing to your girlfriend can be a tricky affair - requiring the right degree of romanticism and creativity.

But Bones star TJ Thyne got it down pat, as he and his new fiance, model Leah Park, posted a series of photos documenting the event to their social media accounts on Monday.

The couple were vacationing in Cologne, Germany, when they took a walk in the grounds of the castle where they were staying - where the 38-year-old actor popped the question.

Each image is fairy-tale like in quality and apt to make any hopeless romantic's heart melt - considering the white carriage and white horses, red roses, the castle, the vibrant green landscape, and the handsome couple dressed to kill.

The whole affair seemed perfectly orchestrated, complete with a photographer to capture each moment.

In one photo, TJ is down on his knee, holding the blue ring box up to Leah, as she gazes down, seemingly overwhelmed with emotion.

The Bones star posted it to his Twitter account, with the caption, 'SHE SAID YES!!! :0)!!!'

The bride-to-be captioned the picture: 'A fairytale engagement.'

Later that night, Leah posted a photo to her Instagram of the castle at night, the candlelit heart aglow, with the caption: 'He proposed in the middle of the candlelit heart.'

It seems that 2014 is off to a good start for these two.

TJ currently stars in the Fox crime comedy-drama series, Bones - each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains.

Its ninth season premiered in September.

TJ plays Dr. Jack Hodgins, an entomologist.

This set up is disturbing.... too overly planned, controlled, etc. They both appear to be "modeling", not in love. No emotion. Weird pics. Woulda been beautiful if it was real.

It looks incredible a real Fairytale, especially the chateau but I find it unnerving that they took so many 'selfies' for Instagram. Surely one photo would've sufficed or is nothing private anymore?
