She don't wanna wait! Katie Holmes wants to 'make amends' with co-star Michelle Williams in a Dawson's Creek reunion

The teen drama helped launch her acting career and now Katie Holmes wants to return to where it all began.

The 35-year-old actress is interested in doing a Dawson's Creek reunion and she wants her co-stars, including Michelle Williams, to participate, reports Ok!magazine.

Katie played the role of Joey Potter for six years on the teen hit drama, which aired from 1998 to 2003.

It also starred James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson.

Radaronline.com reported that her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, didn't want her to participate in a reunion film because he thought 'going backward would be bad' for Katie's career.

And even though Katie and Michelle didn't get along well while the show was on the air, the mother of seven-year-old Suri would like to move on from the past.

'She wants to make amends with Michelle,' an insider told Ok!

'Even though it’s arguable that  Michelle was the main aggressor on the Dawson's Creek set.

'Katie’s over all that now and she’s much more confident and stronger as a person and will let bygones be bygones.'

Katie recently spent time in South Africa shooting her new movie The Giver.

The film is based on the sci-fi tales by Lois Lowry about a boy living in a seemingly perfect community without war, pain or choice, who learns from an elderly man about the pain and pleasure of the 'real' world.

Next up, the actress will to play the lead in Responsible Adults, co-starring former Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford.

Um Jen died in the last ep of Dawson's Creek....so unless they're going in a new supernatural direction, there's not much Michelle Williams can do in a reunion!!!!!

Every one of these actors has enjoyed a degree of success for their roles in movies and hit TV shows. Michelle, for the most part, has seen the greatest critical success - something that Katie wants, but has not received. Good luck with that.
