They tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on New Year's Eve and Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are still celebrating.

On Thursday, the Big Bang Theory actress surprised her husband with a brand new BMW which she had delivered to their home in Studio City, California.

The casually dressed couple waited in the driveway for the vehicle to arrive and Kaley appeared overcome as she watched her spouse take possession of his new motor.

Kaley wore sweatpants, a white T-shirt, flip-flops and a baseball cap as she sat on the step in front of the house clutching a Starbucks paper cup.

Kaley and her tennis player husband appear to have quickly settled in to married life, and were spotted grabbing lunch at In-N-Out in Los Angeles on New Year's Day.

The 28-year-old actress and her 26-year-old husband opted for the drive-through as they pulled up in a large black Range Rover, with Kaley in the driver's seat.

Cuoco wore her blonde hair swept back and a pair of large sunglasses.

Ryan wore a blue button-up shirt and jeans.

Kaley tied the knot with Ryan in a fire and ice themed ceremony to see in 2014.

Fire and ice parties combine elements of light and dark and require that ladies either wear white or red, while the guys can opt for red or white ties.

The sumptuous New Year's Eve wedding took place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a Spanish-style villa nestled in the foothills outside of Los Angeles.

The couple certainly went all out with the decorations for their wedding.

As well as fire-breathing entertainers, characters on stilts entertained the 150 friends and family invited to the ceremony.

Kaley looked like a fairytale princess in a billowy pink gown by Vera Wang.

She accessorised with a diamond headband, necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

Later on, when it was time to finally walk down the aisle, she added a flowing tulle bridal veil that cascaded around her shoulders.

Following the ceremony, Kaley changed into her red dress which was more in line with the wedding's fire and ice theme.

It has been a whirlwind romance for the couple, who were engaged just three months after they started dating.

'From day one, I just knew immediately and it's been magic. We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met,' Kaley told Entertainment Tonight in September.

'So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper,' she admitted. 'But it's what works for us.'
