With her flowing floral frock and knit cardigan, pregnant Elsa Pataky looked effortlessly stylish as she went shopping in Santa Monica, California on Saturday.

The 37-year-old wife of Chris Hemsworth stylishly teamed her ensemble with a pair of studded leather boots, Prada shoulder bag and sparkling studded earrings.

Letting her natural beauty shine, the Spanish model sported minimal make-up, merely highlighting her light eyes with some mascara and warming her complexion with subtle face make-up.

Perhaps in the market for new technology, the blonde beauty was specifically seen shopping at the Apple store - eyeing the iPads.

Elsa was without her Australian actor husband and 18-month-old daughter India Rose.

Chris has currently been busy working on In the Heart of the Sea with Rush director Ron Howard.

But it appears that the two work together best, as it was recently revealed that Elsa stood in for Natalie Portman during a kissing scene in Thor: The Dark World.

Elsa donned a wig and was styled to look like Natalie's alter ego, Dr. Jane Foster, for the final scene in the 2013 hit film, where she locks lips with male lead Thor - who is played by her husband Chris.

Natalie told the New York Daily News: 'It was for re-shoots [after the film was finished] and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn't get there because I was working on my own film. And so they put his wife in my wig and costume - that's why it was so passionate.'

Rather than being upset she wasn't in the scene, Natalie was delighted with the result, and exclaimed: 'It was such a perfect solution, wasn't it.'

Time to upgrade? Elsa was seen checking out iPads at the technology store

Chris was recently named one of the top-grossing actors, making him a hot commodity in Hollywood.

Thanks to the success of Thor: The Dark World and Rush, Chris' 2013 work grossed $701 million, ranking him ninth in the list compiled by Forbes.
