Nicholas A. Simmons, 20, pictured left and right with his sister Hannah, was last seen leaving his home in Rochester on New Year's Day. After he didn't come back, his relatives launched a desperate search for him by contacting local media and making posts on Facebook. However, as his family members were reading Sunday's Democrat and Chronicle, they saw a homeless man who looked just like Simmons in a photograph published by USA Today, center and inset, and notified police who located the man. 'It could have been months before we had a lead on his whereabouts. My baby looks so lost and I will be spending the rest of my life making him well,' his mother wrote on Facebook after he was found.

President Barack Obama returned to Washington Saturday after two weeks of vacationing with his family in Hawaii. He left with daughters Sasha and Malia. Michelle stayed behind.
'As part of her birthday gift from the president, the first lady will remain in Hawaii to spend time with friends ahead of her upcoming 50th birthday,' the White House explained in a statement.

From Las Vegas and New York to London, Paris and Rome, much-loved teddy Mr Fox has been taken on holiday by owner Jessica Johnson, 35, of Miami, for the last 30 years. The globe-trotting toy has visited some of the world's top tourist attractions including the Vatican, Buckingham Palace, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
