It has been just two months since she tied the knot, and Kate Bowsworth could not be happier.

Often rather reserved when it comes to talking about matters of the heart, the 30-year-old has opened up about her joy of being Mrs. Michael Polish.

The star married her director beau just two months ago but already she says it feels like they have been together for ever.

Appearing at the Lucky Magazine East Coast FABB event in New York on Thursday, the Blue Crush actress told the conference it was like they were married from the day they met.

Kate said of married life: 'It's magical.'

'He's been calling me his wife since the day we met, so that wasn't much of a transition. ''Boyfriend'' never fit for him. I always felt very strange saying ''boyfriend,'' so I feel very at home saying ''husband'' now.'

Kate married 42-year-old Michael in a low-key an intimate ceremony with 70 close friends and family at a ranch in Philipsburg, Montana on August 31.

Fashion clash: For her appearance at the conference the 30-year-old star donned a mix of textures wearing a simple yet stunning cream oversized leather sweatshirt with an asymmetrical silver skirt from her Topshop collection

In a previous Lucky Magazine article Kate said she started to 'understand the bigger picture' when she met Michael and instantly clicked with him on the set of his upcoming film Big Sur in 2011.

Despite her wedding featuring in Martha Stewart's Weddings, the actress said it was not something she had been planning forever.

'I never actually thought about what I wanted for my wedding. There are some women who know exactly, from the moment they can speak.'

On her wedding day, Kate wore two custom-made Oscar de la Renta gowns, a designer whom she has enormous respect for and credits with helping her when she was overcome with emotion during the fitting.

More than clothes: The 30-year-old said her favourite thing about fashion is its ability to reflect her mood, 'It's an external expression of what's inside you and how we all want to reflect to the world, how we're feeling'

'He could tell I was really close to losing it, so he was really sweet and he started talking to give me time to collect myself. He just knew. He's so sensitive and kind and he's a gentleman and he protected me in that moment.'

She needs to start taking a decent multi B vitamin. Her hair is way too thin. Some proper nutrients and eating better would help her out.

Why would you need a gentleman to protect you because you're trying on a wedding dress? These celebs would have us believe they all feel things so much more strongly than the rest of us. Seeing the 'bigger picture', what does that even mean? Talk like a normal person and stop being so pretentious!
