Kate Upton's breasts in zero gravity? Model 'looks like something out of Barbarella' in new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue shoot

Kate Upton has been photographed in zero gravity for Sports Illustrated’s 2014 Swimsuit Issue.

According to the New York Post, the 21-year-old model, was shot in a ‘zero gravity space’ so that her breasts would appear weightless.

Apparently photographed in a silver bikini, Miss Upton’s floating chest and blonde hair makes her ‘look like something out of Barbarella,’ a source told the paper.

The supermodel has previously been featured on the magazine’s 2012 and 2013 swimsuit issue covers.

For last year’s shoot, the magazine sent Miss Upton to Antartica where she posed in a bikini bottom and an unzipped ski jacket.

In an appearance on Jimmy Fallon to promote the issue, the comedian joked to Miss Upton that with such an odd location, the only place left for her to be shot would be in outer space.

‘Think about this; there’s no gravity,’ he said.

It is still unclear if Miss Upton has nabbed the 2014 cover as well.

The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue marks the tradition’s 50th anniversary.

Sources tell Page Six that the magazine’s editors are still sifting through photos to make their final decision.

The problem isn't her "curves"...the problem with Kate Upton is she is supposed to be a "FITNESS" model, but her body is anything but fit and she's only 21! The girl needs to play SPORTS or something so she can be FIT and can be called a SPORTS FITNESS MODEL.

she does not have the shape of a model, I'm sorry but it's true. Her waist is big and she has no body tone at all. She's pretty and a sweet girl but not model material.

Those women that you think are "model material" do not have toned bodies. They're simply emaciated. There's nothing toned about the skeletal figures of runway models.

If you want to see what straight men consider attractive, look at Kate Upton. If you want to see "beauty" as defined by middle-aged women and men who are not attracted to women, look at the average fashion model.

Why is she so popular among men? I really don't find anything special about her to me and I've seen better models with better naturally perky chests and better body curves vs her saggy chest and no curves. Not trying to be mean here though.

York, there is difference between having a skinny and lean body. And she is neither. she is just chubby girl who happens to have big breasts. Also pretty sure any "straight men" would take lean women over Kate.

She is not anywhere close to "chubby". That's just plain ridiculous! You only say that because you think the malnourished stick body of a runway model is what "slim" is supposed to be. As for straight men and what we prefer, I remind you Kate Upton is the only model that made the top ten of the Maxim Hot 100 list. None of the other models came even close to her in the ranking.
