Casspi played 33 minutes for the second straight game, scoring his 20 points on 9 of 15 shooting. He made a pair of 3-pointers in five attempts, while adding 12 rebounds to finish with his first double-double of the season.
Casspi has seen his playing time rise thanks largely to injuries in the Rockets' frontcourt. For the season, however, his production remains pretty pedestrian, as his role has come and gone. He is averaging 8.3 points per game in 43 appearances.

Howard was his typically efficient self, scoring his 26 points on 10 of 13 shooting. He struggled at the free-throw line, however, going just 6 of 17. Howard added 13 rebounds and four blocks, while dishing out one assist and picking up one steal in 32 minutes in the blowout win.
Howard has continued his strong play in the month of January, averaging a season-high 19.8 points and adding 10.7 rebounds per game.

"He’s struggling," Rivers said. "He couldn’t move and you kind of had a feeling, and I was right, that they were going to go [Jannero] Pargo and [Ramon] Sessions and start going pick-and-rolls. He’s trying but you could see him laboring up and down the floor. It’s tough. At some point, we may have to make a decision to sit him down as well."
Collison has been filling in as the primary point guard with Chris Paul out, but it may be in the team's best interest to park him on the bench to give him time to heal.
"I really think [sitting Collison out is] what we may have to do," Rivers said. "I’m looking at D.C. and I’ve had that injury myself and it doesn’t get better playing. We’re going to have to sit and decide how bad is it? Is it something that is not that bad? We’ve got to make a decision, soon."

Fredette scored 14 points in 18 minutes, and he was incredibly efficient in doing so. All of Fredette's shots came from behind the three-point line, as he went 4 of 6 shooting. He added two rebounds and one assists, while turning the ball over twice in the loss.
Fredette was playing more early in the month of January, but had not topped double figures in minutes played in four games before Wednesday. He is averaging 7.2 points per game in the month of January, compared to just 5.3 for the season.

With Rudy Gay going down with an Achilles injury early, McLemore played 35 minutes off the bench in the blowout loss. He scored 11 points on 3 of 10 shooting, with three 3-pointers, and added one rebound in the 119-98 loss.
McLemore has seen his role disappear for stretches recently, but could see a big boost in playing time if Gay has to miss time. He is averaging just 4.5 points per game in the month of January.

Williams played 40 minutes off the bench with Rudy Gay leaving early with an Achilles injury. Williams scored 22 points on 7 of 15 shooting in the game, and added a season-high 11 rebounds for his first double-double.
Williams has been much better since the trade to Sacramento, averaging 9.9 points per game in 28 appearances. If Gay is forced to miss extensive time with his Achilles injury, Williams could step into the starting lineup moving forward.

McCallum appeared in his second game in a row, but played just eight minutes in a 119-98 blowout loss. He scored two points on 1 of 3 shooting, though he did add four assists without a turnover in his garbage time.
McCallum's inconsistent playing time has clearly hurt his production as a rookie, as he is shooting just 4 of 13 on the season.

Booker played 20 minutes in the overtime loss, and put up solid numbers off the bench. He scored nine points on 4 of 6 shooting, and added eight rebounds and a pair of assists, as the Wizards fell, 113-111.
Booker has been productive at this times season, but his playing time has been inconsistent. He is averaging 7.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in 22.0 minutes per game in the month of January.

Wall filled up the box score in a major way, recording just his second career triple-double in the loss. He racked up 11 rebounds and 10 assists to go with 28 points, though he shot just 9 of 29 from the field as he struggled with his shot. He also turned the ball over six times in 44 minutes, as the Wizards fell just short in overtime.
Wall has been doing it all for the Wizards all season, and his numbers are up recently thanks to a pair of 30-point efforts. He is averaging 24.8 points, 58 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game over the last five.

With Rajon Rondo sitting out to rest his knee, Wallace took on a big playmaking role in the game. He dished out a season-high nine assists in his 40 minutes of action, while turning the ball over just twice. He filled up the box score well otherwise, scoring nine points and adding six rebounds, one block and four steals.
Wallace has not made much of an impact consistently for the Celtics this season, averaging just 4.3 points per game, his lowest total since 2003-04.
