We're having twins! Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky, 37, shows off bump in tunic dress as couple confirm rumours

Spanish star Elsa Pataky and her husband Chris Hemsworth are expecting twins.

According to HOLA! the couple, who are parents to one-year-old India Rose, are expecting to welcome the latest additions to their family in the spring.

A spokesperson confirmed the report to America's Us Weekly on Thursday.

The news comes as the 37-year-old was spotted proudly showing off her bump by belting a vintage tunic dress just beneath it as she ran errands in LA on Tuesday.

Adding a touch of glamour she carried a small Prada purse, while she covered her eyes with a pair of fun purple rimmed sunglasses.

Elsa wasn’t joined by actor Chris, who she was last seen with on Sunday evening when they attended the Golden Globes together.

The heavily pregnant star looked sensational in a halter neck black dress which embellished neck detail and thigh high split.

Her Australian partner couldn’t have looked happier to be posing beside her and protectively put his hand on her stomach as they posed for pictures.

The couple, who married in 2010, are so head over heels for each other that it was recently revealed that Elsa stood in for Natalie Portman when filming a kissing scene in Thor: The Dark World.

Elsa donned a wig and was styled to look like Natalie's alter ego, Dr. Jane Foster, for the final scene in the 2013 hit film, where she locks lips with male lead Thor - who is played by her husband Chris.

Natalie told the New York Daily News: 'It was for re-shoots [after the film was finished] and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn't get there because I was working on my own film.

'And so they put his wife in my wig and costume - that's why it was so passionate.'
