Love is in the air! Robin Wright and new fiancé Ben Foster take a romantic stroll in Vancouver

Robin Wright is experiencing a great start to 2014, what with her recent engagement and Golden Globe win.

The 47-year-old actress was seen out with her new fiancé, 33-year-old Ben Foster, on a romantic stroll through the chilling streets of Vancouver on Sunday.

The couple appeared very interested in their surroundings as they gazed at something off to the side.

The two were bundled up to brave the cold.

The House of Cards star wore a thick olive green parka with cuffed blue jeans, and a gray scarf.

A pair of sunglasses, a beige beanie, and a pair of sneakers completed the look.

Her Kill Your Darlings star husband was dressed in a black jacket over a dark coloured sweater, and blue cuffed jeans.

Robin recently won a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama, for her work in House of Cards.

She is newly engaged over three years after her divorce from actor Sean Penn finalized.

It will be her third marriage, after wedding Dane Witherspoon in 1986 and then Sean in 1996, and the first marriage for Ben.

Mystic River star Sean began dating Robin not long after his high-profile marriage to Madonna collapsed, and the couple went on to have daughter Dylan, 22, and son Hopper, 20, together before initially splitting up in 2007.

Despite filing for divorce, they were reunited until April 2009, when Sean asked for a legal separation but again had a change of heart a month later.

The breakup finally became official in July 2010 and Robin dropped the 'Penn' from her name and opened up about the rocky marriage a year later.

'It's like the high tide, low tide, right?' she said in 2011, according to Life & Style. 'You know it's going to happen daily - you're just not quite sure if the Weather Channel was accurate with the times.

'That's where the unknowingness flows in and you go, "Okay, I have to relax and just give over to it."'

The hard-nosed Hollywood bad boy had far harsher words to describe the breakup, however, telling Esquire magazine in December 2012: 'There is no shame in saying that we all want to be loved by someone.

'As I look back over my life in romance, I don't feel I've ever had that. I have been the only one that was unaware of the fraud in a few of these circumstances blindly.

'When you get divorced, all the truths come out, you sit there and go, 'What the f**k was I doing?

'What was I doing believing that this person was invested in this way?' Which is a fantastically strong humiliation in the best sense,' the Gangster Squad star said. 'It can make somebody very bitter and very hard and closed off, but I find it does the opposite to me.'
