Daddy's girl! Chris Martin and Apple enjoy father/daughter shopping trip in Malibu

He spent Sunday night living the rock star life at a post-Grammys party in Hollywood but Saturday was family day for Chris Martin.
The Coldplay frontman – who was nominated for two Grammys – enjoyed a day in Malibu with his nine-year-old daughter Apple.
Chris brought the blonde youngster, who is growing up to be a mirror image of her mother Gwyneth Paltrow, to 90% Angel where they did some shopping on the father/daughter date.

There was no sign of Paltrow or the couple’s seven-year-old son Moses.
Chris, 36, was dressed down in grey sweatpants, a white long-sleeved T-shirt and bright blue and orange trainers for his day in the sun while Apple was cute in shorts and a pink vest.
Meanwhile, on Sunday night, Chris was spotted with a group of friends at the Sunset Tower Hotel, in West Hollywood, for the Warner Music Group after-party.
The star made sure to look smart in a black shirt, and black pinstripe suit for the evening of celebration.

He dressed up his look with a couple of jewel stud earrings, and a badge which read 'Love.'
The star was seen mingling with a group of men and women, who were all dressed in either black or white.
Exeter-born Chris and his band Coldplay were nominated for two awards at the Grammys, Best Song Written for Visual Media for Atlas from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Best Music Film for Live 2012, but failed to win an award for either.
Although attending the event without his wife, the pair, who celebrated their 10-year anniversary in December, seem happy to have made the move from London to the US last summer.

Speaking about their move back to the US, a source told Heat magazine: 'Since they moved back to LA in the summer, Gwyneth's just been much happier," the source said.
'It's warm, there aren't as many paparazzi - it's her home and it suits her healthy, detox lifestyle so much more than London. It's really that simple - when she's happy, they get on better.'

The 41-year-old actress recently insisted there move to the US won't be permanent as she worries about kids who are raised in Hollywood.
'I don't want my children to be teenagers in LA. No way. I'm looking at this move to America like two years, three years tops - then we will go back,' she told heat.
'It's part of my parenting philosophy that children should get the opportunity to reinvent themselves at a few points in their childhood to see where their strengths and weaknesses lie and to experience living in different cultures. It's an experiment.'

Surprised he was able to get up and go out after his wild partying -you'd never guess he was on the organic artichoke vol-au-vents and Horlicks the night before.
Moving from London to Malibu would be bizarre! What a big change that would be. I'd choose London, no question.
Isn't it just marvellous how Chris Martin keeps making a statement every time you see him. You know, different coloured sticking plasters on his fingers last year, a badge that says 'Love' on every shirt and jacket he owns this year. If he could be anymore 'right-on' I think he might explode.

Good to see her dressed in normal little girl clothes instead of spruced up in a designer outfit. There was a picture of her a few weeks back which wasn't pixalated and she really is the absolute image of her mother.
