Kate Upton has been making the very most of her newly single status while hitting up Super Bowl parties in New York.

On Friday, the 21-year-old supermodel was in the arms of her on/off flame since 2012, Justin Verlander.

But on Saturday, the Sports Illustrated cover girl ditched the Detroit Tigers pitcher in favour of flirting with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.

The single 46-year-old - born Eric Bishop - was seen coyly whispering a secret in Kate's ear at the DirecTV bash at Pier 40.

Upton covered her ample curves in a sexy leather Dior dress and Jimmy Choo pumps as she hung out with the handsome athlete, who turns 31 this month.

The rumoured flames also reportedly enjoyed a secret romantic getaway in the Bahamas last month.

However, on actual Super Bowl Sunday Kate tweeted a snap of herself and three gal pals.
